Leftover Snowman
I ran into this snowman while out for a walk.
Thought he was still pretty cute even though he had melted a bit.
Lemons for eyes - clever.

Little Venice
One of the several "Italian" Restaurants in Binghamton. Though there are no canals here and I am not so sure the food bears any resemblance to Venetian cuisine, it is a popular restaurant with many loyal supporters.

Boot plaque along the Chenango River Promenade that commemorates the legacy of Endicott-Johnson Shoe Company known as EJ's. It was once a leading manufacturer of shoes and boots and an early proponent of welfare capitalism. It is said that many immigrants came to this country knowing only the phrase "Which way EJ" in the hopes of finding work in this place they had heard about. Both of my grandfathers worked for this company that no longer exists. We have many old empty abandoned factories that remain as reminder to what once was.
