Inebriate Asylum

Building Formerly known as the The New York State Inebriate Asylum.  It was designed by Isaac G. Perry and is designed to look somewhat like a castle.   It is said to be the first institution designed and constructed to treat alcoholism as a disease. The building is now uninhabited but the Binghamton Psychiatric Hospital operates in the outlying buildings
